Ingredients:
- 4-5 Roma tomatoes
- 1/4 Cup Red Onions finely chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves finely chopped
- 8-16 Fresh Basil Leafs (more or less depending on your taste)
- 1 tsp Crushed Dried Oregano
- 4 tbs Olive Oil (or you can add to taste)
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 Loaf of French Bread or Baguette
Directions:
- Chop tomatoes in cubes about 1-2 centimeters and add to bowl
- Add finely chopped red onion, garlic, and oregano to bowl
- Mince fresh basil and add to bowl
- Drizzle olive oil to bowl and season with salt and pepper
- Slice bread and toast on either the oven or in the gridle
- You can either put the tomato mixture on top of the bread or you can set the two together and let your guest make their own. (if this is for a dinner party is better to not serve or bread will become soggy).
